Dr. Blair Hollowell |
I'm originally from North Carolina, attended Meredith College and earned my Bachelor's in Biology in 1993. I graduated from Tuskegee University School
of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama in 1998. I have practiced in Large and Small Animal Medicine in North Carolina, Texas and now here in Virginia where
I moved to be near my father. I have two Labrador Retrievers who love the beach, and I enjoy running and riding my motorcycle in my spare time. I am
an active participant in AVMA leadership and works with the Veterinary Medical Assistance Teams. My special veterinary leadership interests include
Surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue) and Dentistry. Stop by and meet our newest doctors any time! |
Dr. Gayle Mchugh |
Dr. Gayle McHugh is a Pittsburgh, PA native and an avid Steelers fan. She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in Animal
Bioscience. In 1993, Dr. McHugh was accepted to the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine degree in 1997. She has been enjoying every aspect of private practice since that time. Following completion of her husband’s fellowship in
Critical Care the McHugh’s relocated to Virginia Beach in 2003. She has been a welcome addition to Great Neck Veterinary Clinic since that time. Dr.
McHugh loves both surgery and preventative medicine. She has a special interest in treating non-traditional pets like reptiles and small mammals. In
her free time she is very active with outdoor activities and loves to travel with her husband.

Dr. Stephanie Patterson

I'm orginally from New Jersey, graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Biology with speciliaztion in marine sciences, in 2000. I went onto
Tuft's University School of Veterinary Medicine to earn a DVM in 2006. Afterwards, I completed an internship in Emergency/Critical Care and Internal
Medicine. I have a special interest in diagonostic ultrasound, physical therapy, and veterinary acupuncture. When not working, you can find me on the
boardwalk or beach with my husband and two dogs. |
Dr. Debra Thomas

I grew up locally as a "Navy Brat" in Norfolk. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's in Medical Technology. I earned my DVM
degree from the Univeristy of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and returned to Virginia to practice Small Animal Medicine. I have been with
Great Neck Veterinary Clinic since 1993 and continue to be a vital part of this practice. I am married and have many furry and feathered family
members. I'm locally known for my work with Sugar Gliders. Recently, I'm taking time to enjoy my passion for riding horses. |

I have been at Great Neck Veterinary Clinic since Febuaury 2003. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA and have lived at the Beach since 2002. I am the
proud mom of 5 kids with fur - 2 dogs and 3 cats. In my free time I enjoy interior decorating, car racing and motorcycling. |

Hi, my name is Amber. I have been working at Great Neck since February 2003. I am currently in school for veterinary technology and plan to finish and
recieve my degree and license in April 2010. My fiancee and I enjoy many outdoor activities during our time away from work, including backpacking,
fishing, and running. I also enjoy my hobby of candle making.

I joined the staff of Great Neck Veterinary Clinic in August 2007. I am a native of Long Island, New York and relocated to Virginia Beach in 1990. I
have over 25 years experience in the veterinary field. I am a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College Veterinary Technology Program. I have two Black
Labrador Retrievers, Toby and Cody, a Cockatiel named Oliver and an outdoor pond full of Japanese Koi. I enjoy my work at a Veterinary Technician and
have a special fondness for surgery. |

Hi, my name is Kristine. I was born and raised in Va beach. I joined the Strawbridge family in June 08 and was the adopted by the Great Neck family in
Dec 08. I have a maltese named Mollie and out newest addition Clyde, is a beagle-boxer mix (we think) . I am currently in school working my way into
the nursing program. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing at our retreat at Lake Gaston, the beach, and haning out with friends.

I am married to Rob with three furry children boxers, Elliott, Kasey and Isabella. I enjoy floral arranging, crafts, cooking and “retail therapy”. I am
currently enrolled in an online program to receive AAHA accreditation for receptionists. |

My name is Frances Sykes. I was an Army brat born in Germany, although for the most part, I grew up in Northern and West Virginia. I have a ball
python, Bluto, and just recently got my own puppy, Lilman! I have been working here at Great Neck Veterinary Clinic since December 2004 and absolutely
love taking care of everybody's own special family member. |

My name is Kyle Park and I am working here as a Vets Assistant. I am married with two boys, Nathaniel (three years) and Kody (one year). Outside of
work and family, I am a devoted Red Sox, New England Patriots and Duke Blue Devils fan! I also enjoy animals and taking time to read a good book. I am

I have been a receptionist at Great Neck since August 2006. My husband, CJ, and I are originally from Louisiana. Once CJ finished boot camp and
reported to Arleigh Burke, I moved to Virginia Beach in July 2006. I am currently working part time at both clinics and I am enrolled full time at ODU,
where I am getting my master's in counseling. During my free time, I enjoy going to the beach with CJ and our weimaraner/dachshund mix, Buddy, and
reading the latest books and cooking. |

I joined the Great Neck family in December 2008. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach. I have been in the veterinary field for 3 years. In my
spare time I like spending quality time with my pups and gardening. We also take our fair share of cross country drives. I have 6 furry kids: Jake,
Gabi, our newest "foster" (a puppy that was abused and droppped off in the yard or the clinic/baby that we just couldn't get rid of) Izzy (beagle mix),
Short Bus Kitty, Matti and Reese. I love fostering pets and also do my share of pet sitting. I am always willing to lend a helping hand and treat
every patient here as if it was my own. I love what I do and I am very passionate about my job. I plan to continue advancing in the veterinary field.

My name is Kelli Eisenhard and I am from Northern Virginia. I worked at another veterinary clinic before joining Great Neck Veterinary Clinic. I would
like to go back to school to become a veterinary technician. My husband, Daniel, is in the Coast Guard. I have 2 wonderful dogs, a Shih-Poo named
Trixie Sue and a Cockapoo named Moe Moe. In my free time I like to go home and relax with my family and to take long walks with Daniel and my dogs.
